About us

We are a small kennel located in Hungary, registered under the TREOWECORGI kennel name (FCI 7066)
Our goal is to breed quality Pembroke Welsh Corgis!

What is quality in our opinion?

First of all it means health above everything, perfect temperament and character that makes the corgi a working dog, and we strive for combining all this with looks that can prove quality on conformation shows as well. We love moderate dogs of good size, lovely expression and flawless movement. In our opinion the Pembroke is a working dog, has to be active with a good off switch,  and we think it’s important to breed with dogs who has good drive, nice will to please and are strong enough to work under pressure.

We do not keep many dogs at home, because we think the dog itself is the most important, and being a corgi, means regular care and training. We do not keep our dogs in kennels.

All of our breeding dogs are health screened for all genetic diseases (DNA tested for DM, vWd1,  EIC, PRA, HUU, MDR1), x-rayed (for HD, ED) and eye-tested (PRA, MRD, CHC, PPM).

We raise our puppies with great care, using helpful tools for their well-being, like ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and the Puppy Culture protocol, ESI,  also some extra trainings and occupation from us  what is the result of our experience accumulated in many years to give them the best basis in socialization.  Our offspring is sold only to active, responsible families that are willing to stay in touch with the breeder even after taking the puppy home, because, as the breeders we feel responsible for Treowecorgi bred dogs for the rest of their lives!

We love working with our dogs, we do activities like obedience execrises, herding, tricks, hoopers, dog dancing, canine fitness, nosework. We are also attending  many dog shows. Our dogs temperament and character are very important for us, just like their health and construction, quality of our breeding dogs, to insure the best possible start for the babies that we bring to the World.
We are trying to do our best for the breed.
